meketo.com is for sale

Page last updated September 26, 2026  ·  Data: Google Search Console, Web search, August 27 to September 25, 2026 (30 days) and April 21 to September 5, 2026 (138 days); Vercel Analytics, 30 days to September 26

MeKeto is a keto tools site: 18 calculators, a 268-food database you can search, 13 restaurant guides, and a library of articles, recipes and meal plans. It is a statically rendered Next.js app on Vercel with one Postgres database behind it. No accounts, no subscriptions, no ad network, no revenue.

Nothing here is projected, modelled or rounded up. Where Search Console itself rounds a figure, the page quotes it as displayed and says so. The figures come from Search Console, Vercel Analytics and the repository, and anyone with access to them can reproduce them in about ten minutes. There is a section further down headed what is wrong with it. It is not padding, and it is not buried at the bottom.

The last 30 days

From August 27 to September 25 the site took 62 clicks from Google search. From April 21 to September 5, a window of 138 days, it took 59. The two windows overlap by ten days, so this is not a clean before and after, but it shows the direction: the latest month brought in more Google clicks than everything before it.

Impressions came to 12.5k, roughly 417 a day, against 284 a day in August. Average position was 14.2, which is the top of page two.

The last seven days of that range, September 19 to 25, averaged position 10.4, right at the bottom of page one, with 15 clicks on 2.89k impressions (0.5% CTR, as Search Console displays it). A week is too short to call a settled ranking, but it is the direction the whole range has been moving in.

Google Search Console, August 27 to September 25. Only pages with at least one click are counted, so the impressions do not sum to the site total.

In the first six months, 51 of 59 clicks landed on the homepage. In the last 30 days it was 41 of 62, and the other 21 were spread over 16 pages: two restaurant guides, calculators, food pages, the meal plan, the cheat sheet and a recipe. The McDonald’s guide, which had zero clicks in the first six months, took its first two. Every one of these numbers is small. The point is that the pages built since June have started to earn clicks, not only impressions.

Nearly twenty thousand impressions and fifty-nine clicks in the site’s first 138 days. Google matched the site to the queries it was built for and placed it a few positions below where people click. Everything from here down uses that April 21 to September 5 window unless it says otherwise, and shows how far below, on which terms, and what it would take to close the gap.

Most of the content shipped inside the last ten weeks of that window, and the 30 days above are the first sign of those pages settling.

The growth curve

July 2026259.9
August 2026284.0
September 2026 (5 days)357.0
Aug 27 to Sep 25 (30 days)~417

April and September are partial months and are labelled as such, so read the column as a rate rather than a total. The step change sits between June and July, and it is not a mystery: the restaurant guides, the learn hub, the food category hubs and the recipe library all shipped between June 29 and July 5. July was the first full month that content existed. August came in higher than July, the first five days of September came in higher again, and the 30 days to September 25 came in higher still. The last row is a custom range, not a calendar month, and it overlaps the two rows above it. It is 12.5k impressions, as Search Console displays the total, divided by 30, so it carries that rounding.

It is already in range of the head term

“free keto calculator” averages position 9.52 across the six months on 1,299 impressions. That is the foot of page one. “keto calculator free” averages 11.84 and “best free keto calculator” 13.30, so the modified head terms are clustered right at the fold. The bare head term, “keto calculator”, averages 21.27 and still produced 11 clicks, more than any other single query.

This family is the shortest distance between where the site is and where clicks are. The pages serving it are the homepage and the calculator set, which are the most finished part of the site.

The restaurant cluster works and sits on page three

ClusterQueriesImpressionsShare
Restaurant and fast food1171,32711.0%
Food lookups (is X keto)1668947.4%
Women, PCOS, menopause1170.1%

Clusters within the top 1,000 queries, which carried 12,047 impressions between them.

117 of those thousand queries are restaurant or fast food searches, worth 1,327 impressions. The McDonald’s guide is the second largest page on the site by impressions: 1,926 of them, zero clicks, at an average position of 29.59. “low carb mcdonalds” averages 39.70 and “low carb mcdonald’s” 38.28.

Those are pages three and four, where nobody clicks. That is what makes them useful information rather than a disappointment: Google has already decided the site is relevant to these searches and has parked it just out of reach. Thirteen guides exist today. A fourteenth is an entry appended to one data file, because the route, the structured data, the internal links and the sitemap entry all follow from that data.

The food database behaves the way a long tail should

162 individual food pages earned impressions during the window, 4,593 in total, which is 22.7% of everything the site was shown for. Against that, 166 distinct queries in the top thousand are food lookups of the “is X keto” shape, worth 894 impressions.

Many pages, each one small, collectively the largest cluster after the homepage. The database holds 268 foods in a Postgres table and is seeded from a script, so widening it is a data job rather than a build.

Which pages earn the impressions

ClusterImpressionsShare
Food database (162 pages)4,59322.7%
Restaurant guides (8 pages)2,79713.9%
Learn articles (8 pages)7763.8%
Recipes and meal plans (11 pages)2601.3%
Women (3 pages)920.5%

214 pages earned at least one impression. The McDonald’s guide sits inside the restaurant row, so the groupings are not meant to sum. Search Console reports slightly different totals depending on the dimension you group by, which is why these shares do not divide exactly into 19,856.

The homepage is not in that table because it belongs to no cluster and behaves differently from all of them. On its own it took 9,611 impressions and 51 clicks at an average position of 20.15. That is the number to sit with: 51 of the site’s 59 clicks landed on one page. Everything built since June earns impressions and almost no clicks, which is what page three looks like from the inside.

Mobile5,606390.70%
Tablet15542.58%
All devices19,856590.30%

CTR is computed from the two columns beside it. The device rows sum exactly to the site totals.

Desktop supplies two and a half times the impressions of mobile and returns 16 clicks against mobile’s 39. Mobile turns impressions into clicks about six times as often. Both rates are low in absolute terms, and the tablet row is 155 impressions, which is too little to read anything into. Desktop is the line worth staring at. It is the bulk of what the site is shown for and almost none of what it earns.

The stack is Next.js 16.3.6, React 19.3, TypeScript in strict mode, Tailwind v4, Neon Postgres and Vercel. Pages are statically rendered and a deploy is the only thing that refreshes them, which is deliberate: an earlier version of the site ran timed revalidation and produced a Vercel bill to match.

Lighthouse was run across five page types in both themes, ten runs in all. Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO scored 100 on every run. Performance ranged from 93 to 98, quoted as a range because it is a lab metric that moves between runs. axe-core reports zero violations. npm audit reports zero vulnerabilities. The repository carries README, HANDOVER, ARCHITECTURE and MONETIZATION documents written for whoever takes it over, including a list of known and unfixed items.

Built, wired, and not yet earning

Three things are finished code that no traffic has met yet. They are listed as work a buyer does not have to do, not as value a buyer should pay for.

Monetization surfaces. The product cards are placed and their clicks are recorded to the database. The Mediavine Grow script is preserved intact in the codebase. Each sits behind one switch, so turning them on is a config change once the new owner holds their own network approvals.

Email capture. A consented signup form runs on the calculators and writes addresses to Postgres, with a CSV export. No email provider is configured, so nothing has ever been sent to anyone.

The women and PCOS pages. Four pages exist for that theme. Three of them earned impressions, 92 between them. Built, not proven.

What is wrong with it

Everything in this section is checkable in the same Search Console account as everything above it. It is here rather than in a diligence reply because a seller who names the problems is easier to verify than one who does not.

Clicks are still small

62 Google clicks in 30 days is about two a day, and 297 visitors a month from every source is a small audience. It is a real change from the first six months, and the click-through rate is still 0.5%. Most of the site’s positions sit on pages two and three, which is where impressions pile up and clicks do not. Most of what is listed above is a ranking, not an audience.

It has never earned anything

There is no ad network and no approved affiliate program. The Mediavine Grow script is in the codebase behind a flag that is switched off, and the outbound product links carry no tracking parameters because there is no account behind them. The surfaces are built, placed and click-tracked, so a new owner turns them on with a config change, but the network approvals come first and those depend on traffic the site does not have yet. Treat the revenue history as zero, because it is zero.

Indexing is incomplete

As of September 26, Search Console reports 228 pages indexed and 35 not indexed, against 359 URLs in the sitemap. On September 4 it was 230 and 32, so the count has not grown this month and has slipped by two. The not-indexed breakdown on September 4 was 27 crawled but currently not indexed, 3 page with redirect, 1 not found (404), and 1 alternate page with a proper canonical tag. The crawled-but-not-indexed pages are the real item: Google has fetched them and chosen not to index them.

The category is past its peak

Keto search demand is below where it was in 2019 and 2020. Anyone who has looked at the trend line knows it, so it belongs here rather than in a diligence call. What the curve above shows is a small property gaining share of a shrinking category, not a rising tide.

Two content clusters are built but unproven

The recipes and meal plans (11 pages) hold 1.3% of impressions. The women, PCOS and menopause pages (3 pages) hold 0.5%, and exactly one query in the top thousand belongs to that theme, worth 17 impressions. An earlier draft of this page led with the women’s angle as the most defensible niche. The data does not support that, so it sits here as a thesis somebody built pages for, not as traffic.

There are reciprocal links with a second property

meketo.com and tdeemacrocalculator.com link to each other from their footers, and meketo.com discloses the relationship on its editorial policy page. Both properties have the same owner. The owner’s position: if they sell separately, both sides remove their links within 30 days of close.

How to verify all of this

The traffic figures are in Google Search Console under Performance, Web search. The recent figures use a custom range of August 27 to September 25, 2026, and the 7-day figures a custom range of September 19 to 25. Everything else uses April 21 to September 5, 2026. Visitors, page views, bounce rate, top pages and referrers are Vercel Analytics, last 30 days as of September 26. The coverage figures are on the Pages report as of September 26, with the breakdown as of September 4. The content counts come from the repository and from the route table of a production build, and the sitemap is public at meketo.com/sitemap.xml. Ask for a walkthrough of any of it.

Talking to the owner

No price is listed here, on purpose. If the property is interesting to you, send an offer, or send the list of things you want to see before you make one. Questions about the code, the hosting, the database, the analytics, or anything in the section above are all fair and get a direct answer.
