Keto at In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out has a short menu and one built-in keto move. Ask for any burger "Protein Style" and the bun is replaced with a wrap of whole lettuce leaves. In-N-Out lists Protein Style nutrition on its own nutrition chart, so you are not guessing: the Protein Style Hamburger is 9g total carbs, the Cheeseburger 11g, and the Double-Double 12g, each with 2g of fiber.
The carbs that remain come mostly from the spread, tomato, and onion. Everything else on the menu is a harder fit. The fries are 49g of carbs, the shakes run 66 to 74g, and the regular sodas and lemonade are pure sugar. Drink unsweetened iced tea, Diet Coke, or coffee, and you can eat here comfortably on keto.
